We comply with the safety policy of our fiscal sponsor, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, including mandatory safety training for all our volunteer staff (junior counselors and up), and criminal background checks for all staff over age 18. In addition, we adhere to the following safety policies (following the camping policies of Navigators USA):

• Boys, girls, non-binary gender campers in separate tents on overnights.
• Adults do not sleep in the same tent as legal minors.

We comply with all state and county health COVID regulations.
