Dan Harper, Director, gr. 2-5 camp

An educator for over 25 years, Dan is currently the minister of education at the UU Church of Palo Alto. A long-time outdoors lover, Dan does birding, hiking, camping, and outdoor photography, sometimes all at the same time.

Lorraine Kostka, Director, gr. 6-8 camp

Lorraine has been involved with Ecojustice Camp from the beginning. She is a California Certified Naturalist. With a doctorate in biology, Lorraine is an avid outdoorsperson, and enjoys camping, hiking, and nature study.

 

Kris Geering, Director for K-1 camp

Kris has a master’s degree in early education. She has a private practice, Let’s Learn Together, providing parent education and support. Kris loves hiking — particularly in redwood groves — and finding ways to introduce her own children to the peace that comes from being outdoors.

Michael Abraham

Mike has been part of the camp since the first year, and has a master’s degree in special education, and has over 25 years teaching experience. He’s currently teaching at Independence High school, San Jose. Mike is a national park enthusiast, and enjoys the outdoors, camping, and outdoor cooking.

 

Jenny Robertson, Counselor

Jenny has been working with children of all ages fifteen years. She is an instructional assistant in general science and biology at Christa McAuliffe K-8 School in Cupertino Union School District. She has also taught over a hundred children how to unicycle.
