Above: We learned about setting up tents in the afternoon, and then when we got to the campsite the campers had to figure out how to set up their own tents. They did a great job!

Above: Playing “Hares, Lynxes, and Plants,” a simulation game that shows the interaction between predators and prey. When we introduced domestic cats into the cames, the simulated ecosystem crashed pretty quickly….

Above: Dinner was spaghetti and salad. The campers did much of the food prep and cooking.
